Visa requirements study to be granted a visa to study
 
  You must satisfy the visa requirements and comply with a number of visa conditions for attendance and academic performance which come into effect after you have entered Australia. And describes the student visa requirements that apply specifically to you, it is important to meet the requirements in order to avoid visa cancellation.

The student visa to seven separate sub-classes for each education sector. You must apply for a sub-category of visa for the specialization core curriculum, which took place upon your choice. Please note that the start of the first of July 2004 there will be changes to some of these sub-categories.

Sub-categories for the study visa

Subclass 570 Special sessions of the ELICOS

Awarded to foreign students wishing to study at the Institute of ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) as a one, not as a prerequisite to commencing another course (for example, a course for a degree course).

Subclass 571 Schools

Awarded to foreign students wishing to study a course in one of the primary or secondary schools, including schools and senior secondary, and approved secondary exchange program.

Subclass 572 Vocational Education and Training (VET)

To study the Certificate 1, 2, 3 and 4, Diploma and Advanced Diploma.

Subclass 573 Higher Education

For undergraduate study (BA), Associate Degree, and a certificate of graduation and a diploma of graduation.

Subclass 574 Graduate

For the preparation of a Masters degree by coursework or by research, as well as a PhD.

Subclass 575 studies that do not grant qualifications

Of the foundation, and other courses that do not lead to a degree or diploma or other formal award.

Subclass 567 AusAID under the auspices of Education or the Ministry of Defence

Of the study carried out by the regular students AusAID or the Department of Defense under the auspices of the Australian Government
